Get Involved with a Winning Team
Credit Unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives owned and overseen by their members. This unique philosophy is what sets Credit Unions apart from other financial institutions.
True to our cooperative roots and philosophy of “Changing Lives One Dream at a Time,” our Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors are made up of talented people who volunteer their time and expertise to ensure BRECO FCU continues to be a financial partner for life to our members and their families.
If you’d like to be more involved and have a strong desire to help us continue to succeed and grow, we encourage you to apply for a position on the Supervisory Committee or Board of Directors. Volunteering to serve can be an extremely rewarding experience. Perks include opportunities to attend educational forums in the Credit Union industry, leadership development, networking, and financial industry experience. You will represent your fellow Credit Union members as well as share your valuable knowledge to benefit our membership.
If you feel you’re not quite ready for the Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee, we also have Associate Director positions available. These member volunteers learn about the business of the Credit Union while assisting the Board of Directors or Supervisory Committee, with no long-term commitments.
