Four BRECO employees earn professional CUNA designations

Four BRECO employees were recently privileged to earn professional designations from the Credit Union National Association. These designations symbolize commitment to continuing education and professional development in the service of credit unions and their members, and include hours of personal study, classroom learning and role play, and examinations. Charlotte Matthews and Theresa Haigler each earned their CCUFC (Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor) designations, Nicole Bailey earned her CUCE (Credit Union Compliance Expert) designation, and Joshua Poole earned his CUERME (Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert) designation. Congratulations to each of you for your hard work and dedication!

PRAIRIEVILLE BRANCH CLOSURE

Dear Valued Member,

We at BRECO FCU are thankful to you our members, and are excited about what the future holds for our credit union.  We have had many wonderful successes over the past few years, and are looking forward to continued success for years to come.

As part of that ongoing effort, we continually search for ways to better serve the needs of the entire membership, which may include a review of current branch locations.  As such, we have determined that some changes are necessary to strategically position the credit union for continued growth.

To that end, BRECO’s Prairieville branch, located at 17536 Airline Hwy. in Prairieville, will be permanently closed as of December 31, 2018.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  As a reminder, BRECO has many other options available for accessing your accounts or for your lending needs, including our main office located at 1850 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. in Baton Rouge (M-F 9am-5pm), and 24/7 access via online banking or your mobile app.  BRECO also participates in the shared branching and surcharge free ATM network, which effectively adds thousands of branch and ATM locations nationwide.  To find a shared branch or surcharge free ATM near you, simply visit our website at www.brecofcu.com or call our office at 225-273-1529.

Again, we thank you for your membership and look forward to working with you in the future.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 225-273-1529 or by email at info@brecofcu.com

Sincerely,

Joshua W. Poole
